This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base
(MIB) for use with network management protocols in the
Internet community. In particular, it describes a basic set of
managed objects for fault, configuration and performance
management of applications from a systems perspective.  More
specifically, the managed objects are restricted to
information that can be determined from the system itself and
which does not require special instrumentation within the
applications to make the information available.

This document is a product of the Application MIB Working Group of the
IETF.

This is now a Proposed Standard protocol.

This document specifies an Internet standards track protocol for
the Internet community, and requests discussion and suggestions
for improvements.  Please refer to the current edition of the
"Internet Official Protocol Standards" (STD 1) for the
standardization state and status of this protocol.  Distribution
of this memo is unlimited.
