Waldbusser Mailbox: barnes@xylogics.com, brown_l@msm.cdx.mot.com, rroyston@usr.com, swol@andrew.cmu.edu Pages: 31 Characters: 54,054 Updates/Obsoletes: none This memo defines a portion of the Management Information Base (MIB) for use with network management protocols in the Internet community. In particular, it describes managed objects used for managing dial-up modems and similar dial-up devices. This MIB module provides a set of objects that are the minimum necessary to provide the ability to monitor and control those devices, and is consistent with the SNMP framework and existing SNMP standards. This RFC is a product of the Modem Management Working Group of the IETF. This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol. This announcement is sent to the IETF list and the RFC-DIST list.
